For this project I was tasked to design a tool for a fictional character of my choosing. I decided to go with Marvel's Peter Quill (Star Lord).

My goal was to design him something of great importance to him and his personal story. Since Star Lord is a Ravager he tends to have every gadget he could ever think of having, so I didn't want to just design him another weapon, but rather give him something of deeper meaning.

Peter was given his Sony Walkman from his mom, it is his connection to her and his humanity. However, nothing could be said about his father. He has no connection to the alien half of him, in fact, he resents that side of him because of how evil his father was.

​

THE LIGHT was designed to give Peter his alien abilities back, inherited to him from his father, that he ends up loosing.
